Dubli is an online MLM program that is based on a "reverse auction" concept, that also brings to together a business approach to establish of other applicants as well. Dubli is an interesting business, and we will review their opportunity in this article.

Dubli - The Good

Dubli has a very unique design for their establishment. Most auctions work like this - a merchant provides an item up for auction, and others bid the price up to see who is willing to pay the highest price asked. The customer willing to afford the highest price wins. Dubili is an online hub that lets clients acquire tokens ("Dubli credits") which cost $.80. Then they user can use those credits to drive down the value of an auction item in one of 3 different games.

The #1 game, the buyer can bet a Dubli Token to see the price of that item. If the client bets at the right time, the price may be reduced enough that you can buy it at a reduced vaule. In the second game, the client can bet a token to reduce the price. If you bet at the right time you win a price, so long as you claim it. With the third game, you spread your tokens to cover thr various price ranges; in other words, you are betting that your token will be unique and that it will also be the least unique Dubli Token placed as a bet, in competition with all the other down-bidders.

In addition, you can also build an an MLM Downline and earn commissions of their bidding activities as well. At a first glance, Dubli looks like a good way to earn money.

Dubli Review - The Other Side Of The Coin

With a closer look, there are two challenges with Dubli. The first is their design, and the second is their commerce.

There is a tremendous amount of dispute with their business design, as others say that it is simply a clever way for their client market to pay way too much for the chance of getting an item at a reduced cose. For the 1 person who wins the prize, it's a great deal. For the rest of the people...well, it's not such a great deal.

In a normal auction, you don't pay anything unless you win. With this business unless you win. This would seem to be a good motivator to not lose - but in this scenario, there will only be one winner.

The other probelm is the marketing. Even though the claim is an online business, a big component of the potential of a dubli business is building a team. Their marketing approach is traditional networking - talking to friends and family members, business associates, etc. This type of marketing is limited in affectivness, as most people run out of people to talk to after a while.

In order to build a large team with Dubli or any business, you must have the skills to market to people who are looking for what you have, and then show them how to do the same. This is called "target-marketing", and it works so much more effectively the two don't even compare.

To conclude, the jury is still out on their reverse-auction system. In regards to recruiting, the warm market is the fastest way to enroll 5 customers and 2 reps into a downline. Beyond that - study how to market effectively if you wish to succeed.
