Paramount Films circulated their romantic/comedy movie "No Strings Attached," and it was extremely funny, supplying a lot of laughs.
I'm not normally a great fan of romantic/comedy movies, but I knew this one would definitely do well on account of Ashton Kutcher and the nature of the premise. The flick stars: Ashton Kutcher, Natalie Portman, Greta Gerwig, Kevin Kline, Ophelia Lovibond, Ben Lawson, Chris Bridges, Olivia Thirlby, Jake M. Johnson, Lake Bell, Guy Brannum, and Cary Elwes.
The movie revolved around personalities Emma and Adam. Adam and Emma have known one another since school, from the time Adam attempted to cop a feel from Emma. Next, the motion picture fast forwards to this college frat party where Adam and Emma see each other again since that unusual highschool night.
They exchange hellos,Adam strangely tells her he likes her,so they wind up hanging out for a small bit. Afterwards, they lose touch for an additional year, and see one another again, but under odd circumstances. Right after that, it fast forwards a bit to where Adam learns that his dad has connected with his ex-girlfriend.
He winds up getting drunk due to it, and winds up at Emma's place, passed out and undressed on the sofa the subsequent morning. It's an extremely amusing scene because each one of her friends is there, lounging around him. After Emma informs him the loco things he did while he was drunk, they kiss and have sex.
Following that, Adam is essentially in love with her,but she only wants to stay friends, unique friends, friends with benefits. Adam, not surprisingly, agrees to do the wild,non-emotional,sex-friendly, relationship. The flick shows them making love all over the place. I mean basically everywhere, and they're not shy about this either. It's a really amusing movie.
Everything appears to stay going ok until Adam starts to show he cares for her, while she ignores her feelings. They argue back and forth, continuing to have sex until Adam doesn't want that form of relationship anymore. The film concludes with Emma beginning to see that she misses the hell out of him after being apart for so long.
However, she doesn't get a warm reception when she tries to return into his life, and thinks she might have lost him forever. She ultimately ends up being required to make a change she's never done before to get him back. It was a real feel-good moment at the conclusion. I thought the motion picture was fantastic. It was packed with numerous laughs and one-liners.
Natalie Portman did a really great job, playing the emotionless female part. She showed a sense of humor I never thought she possessed. I truly didn't think she'd be as funny as she was. She had me cracking up. Of course, Ashton was hysterical in the movie. It also featured rapper Ludacris who brought tear watering laughs to the film .
I thought this was just an overall incredibly funny motion picture with some romance thrown in,but even the way that played out was comical. Oh, and there was also some nudity in the motion picture. Ashton showed his buttocks and we also caught a glimpse of Natalie's rear end,but only for a moment. I gave the film a grade A.
